LOSS AND BEREAVEMENT AWARENESS
Overview
This loss and Bereavement awareness course enables candidates to form a better understanding of how to deal with death, dying and bereavement issues professionally and sensitively. Candidates will also look at the different stages of death and how to best support those who have been bereaved. Candidates will also have the opportunity to ask questions and relate this topic to their own job role.

- Communication and how we cope with Loss
- Accepting the Reality of the Loss
Assessment:
The course is delivered in 3 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities.

SPECIAL OFFER- If two 3 hour care sector courses are run on the same day at the same venue then the cost is £500+VAT (Usually £325+VAT per course) These could be two of the same courses or a combination of two different ones.

The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed.
Staff should not be expected to be on duty
Staff attending should remain for the entire length of the session
