Observation Skills for Carers
Overview
This observation skills course is designed to provide an introduction into the responsibilities of an observer and the legal requirements of accurate reporting. It is relevant to people who provide personal care to clients in care settings. Upon completion of the course candidates will understand the use and purpose of each record or report that a worker has to use or contribute to. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate the ability to make written records that are legible and understand that it is the responsibility of a worker to report anything that worries them in their working environment.

Assessment:
The Observational skills for Carers course is delivered in 2 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn through interaction and group activities.
