The person centred care course enables participants to understand the importance of seeing people as unique individuals who require unique interventions designed to meet their unique needs.

Outline of Programme

On completion of the person centred care course, delegates will understand:

• The value of Person Centred Care
• Identify the benefits of creating a 'Life story' for each service user
• What holistic care is
• The process for empowering service users
• Outline the importance and limits of confidentiality
• The importance of establishing valid consent
• How organisational practices can infringe the rights of the individual
• The importance and limits of the worker/client relationship

Assessment:
The care planning course is delivered in 2 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities.

SPECIAL OFFER- If three, two hour care sector courses are run on the same day at the same venue the third course is free of charge. This could be three of the same courses or a combination of three different ones.
