This safeguarding children course is designed to give everyone who works, or has contact with children, young people and/or their families, an introduction to safeguarding and to raise awareness of the below areas

- The recognition of child abuse
- How to respond to concerns
- Who to contact when there is a concern
- Fulfilling "duty of care"
- Safe practice and keeping children safe
Assessment:
The safeguarding of children training course is delivered in 3 hours and Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn along with interaction of group activities.

SPECIAL OFFER- If two, three hour care sector courses are run on the same day at the same venue then the cost is £500+VAT (Usually £325+VAT per course) These could be two of the same courses or a combination of two different ones.
Important information
The training venue should be quiet and undisturbed.
Staff should not be expected to be on duty
Staff attending should remain for the entire length of the session
