Course Overview
Tutorcare provide CITB training courses across the UK. The CITB Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Scheme is a health and safety programme which provides the industry with a range of health and safety courses for operatives, supervisors and management. Site Safety Plus CITB training courses are not only important, they are essential for future growth in the construction and related industries. Delegates who successfully complete CITB Site Safety Plus training course qualifications will receive a CITB certificate and identification card valid for 5 years.

We offer the following CITB Site Safety Plus training courses:-

• SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme): The SMSTS course is designed for site managers, quantity surveyors, project directors or any individual involved in responsibility of planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering staff. This industry recognised course is one of the most highly regarded within the construction industry which covers the Health & Safety at Work Act and relevant regulations.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme): The SSTS course is aimed for site supervisors, foreman, team leaders or any individual who has supervisory responsibilities. It aims to give an introduction to H&S, welfare & environmental issues and responsibilities relevant to their work.
• PMSTS (Plant Managers Safety Training Scheme): The PMSTA course is designed for plant managers, plant instructors, workshop managers or ant individual involved in responsibility of planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering staff associated with plant in their workplace.
• ABC (Achieving Behavioural Change) Course: The ABC course is designed to provide candidates with a basic understanding of how attitude, behaviour, communication and worker engagement for all levels of staff, to help prevent the chances of accidents occurring.
• CITB Health and Safety Awareness Course: For candidates who are about to or have just entered into the conversation and civil engineering industry. This course is the ideal introduction to understand the potential hazards which may face them in the workplace.es and responsibilities relevant to their work.
• CITB Environmental Awareness Course: This course examines the environmental impact from construction work in terms of pollution to air, land and water. Gives the candidate the knowledge and understanding required to manage environmental and sustainability issues.
