This e-learning SOVA training course is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People. Staff undertaking this safeguarding of vulnerable adults e-learning course will have the knowledge and understanding to recognise abuse and implement their company adult protection policy and the procedures they should follow.

Outline of E-Learning SOVA Training Programme:-

• Define the different types of abuse and the recognition features of each one
• Describe how to deal with the disclosure of abuse and the process to follow
• State the legislation they may need to be aware of with regards to an abuse situation
• Identify the support available following disclosure

Assessment:
The online safeguarding of vulnerable adults training course is delivered via e-learning at a time and pace chosen by the candidate. Upon completion a certificate will be issued.
