1 Day HACCP Food Safety Training

CIEH Level 2 Award HACCP Training Courses - Fundamental HACCP training for all food handlers.

Overview
HACCP training course providers have identified a growing need to make food safety training more relevant to specific business environments to increase effectiveness. This course covers topics relevant to those involved in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP-based systems, as well as those who are, or intend to become, members of HACCP teams. It meets the requirement for training on the application of HACCP principles under Regulation (EC) NO. 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.

Outline of HACCP Level 2 Programme
The HACCP level 2 qualifications cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to Food Safety Management
  • Developing HACCP-based systems
  • The Principles of Codex HACCP
  • Applying HACCP-based systems

Qualification information:
The HACCP training course at level 2 is designed for those working, or preparing to work, in food businesses where a food safety management system based on Codex HACCP principles is implemented.

One day programme.

Assessment method:
Multiple choice examination – 1 hour
