The aim of the CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme is to ensure that all site personnel, including visiting contractors, have a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety. This will allow for a safer and lower risk working environment when on site, after appropriate site inductions. The scheme is monitored and controlled by the Client Contractor National Safety Group who ensure that standards are maintained and that all construction sites and staff meet current safety legislation and practices.
Outline of Programme
CCNSG Safety Passport National course:
This two day course provides a basic understanding of health and safety for all site personnel, which is a legal requirement. After a site induction, delegates are able to work safer, reducing risk to themselves and others. The CCNSG Safety Passport certificate will be awarded and is valid for three years.
CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course:
This one day course must be taken within 3 months either way of your passport expiry date. This aims to bring candidates up to date with new legislation before their current CCNSG Safety Passport expires. Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will be re-awarded their qualification.
(On completion of these two courses, a further supervisor course is also available).
