The Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (QCF) qualification is the industry standard for those working in senior management or leadership, and is the equivalent to a Master's Degree. Recognised both internationally and domestically, the programme offers a series of mandatory units which provide delegates the skills and occupational competence necessary to perform a senior management role. The optional units allow delegates to customise the qualification to suit their specific sector, meaning that it is an ideal addition to the resume of any management staff in health and social care environments.
To achieve the Level 7 QCF Diploma in Stategic Management and Leadership leaders must complete a minimum of 45 credits: 16 must come from Mandatory Group A, and a further 29 credits from Optional Group B. A minimum of 35 credits must be achieved through the completion of Level 7 units.
The optional units enable delegates to tailor the course to their own specific career needs. More information about these courses is available on request.
How does assessment take place?
Delegates will be assessed through the observation of their work-based performance, building a portfolio of evidence, demonstrating their ability to work at the acquired level. What are the entry requirements?
The Diploma in Leadership and Management is for those already working within a health and social care role with managerial responsibilities to enable you to produce the required evidence. Delegates must also have good written and verbal communication skills.
